This blog

is my way of documenting the life of
BrookeWorm...an entity that moves effortlessly as one, yet has two completely different segments that work independently, as well;)

First, I will start with the status of our "apartment" saga (for those just tuning in to our Soap Opera) and then this blog will keep the people we love updated on "real life" things that we wouldn't post on our websites.
As of April 1st, we are IN our newly renovated HOME! They still have yet to finish some things, however. (as soon as we showed up to take possession of the apartment, the workers just stopped showing up in the morning, even though they easily had at least one full day of work before it was finished.)
I will be posting pix here, although they don't quite do it justice since I can't get sweeping views around each room. We are EXTREMELY happy to finally be "home" and to have an unrecognizable BRAND NEW full 2 bedroom pad in our same adorable-yet-hip East Village neighborhood.("...where everybody knows your name..")
We have also managed to keep our senses of humor and support for each other intact. I must say that, going on 2 1/2 years, we are an even stronger couple now than ever. Adversity has it's purpose and shows up occasionally to make you appreciate
life.
If it tells you anything about how proud and pleased we are, let me invite all of you to come visit us and see for yourselves! When did we ever say
that before?! We will even have a guest bed in a month or so.
The furniture/life possesions blog has yet to be written, because that question is still up in the air...We are hoping to hire movers to move a lot of stuff instead of a little bit of stuff next week. As of now, we only know that our stainless appliances made it through to being installed and we're comfy on an aero-bed. (Areo-bed on this week's program provided by: Craig n Cami!)
Thanx sooo much to you guys for all of your love, support & encouragement through all the things we've been going through. If you're receiving this blog, it's because we love you very much and consider you family. Come on in, take off your coat and stay a while...
